Almaden Swim & Racquet Club is located in the Almaden Valley in San Jose, California at 6604 Northridge Drive. Almaden features beautiful views of the surrounding foothills.

Description:

The Almaden Swim and Racquet Club is a family oriented, member owned club governed by a seven member Board of Directors which is selected every fall by the general membership. Board meetings are held once a month and are open to the membership.

The everyday functions of the club are professionally managed by Dan Chapman.

Our swim programs have much to offer. The hours for recreational swimming change with the seasons and can be noted in the monthly newsletter. A lifeguard is on duty during pool hours. During the summer months group lessons are offered. The lessons are supervised by certified Water Safety Instructors and all lifeguards are trained and certified by the American Red Cross.

The six tennis courts are located in the upper area of the club and are overseen by Rodney Kop, our Director of Tennis. Rodney and his staff teach all ages and levels of play. We have a variety of tennis programs. Several tournaments are scheduled through the year including a club championship. Current information on tournaments and other events is included in the monthly newsletter and is also posted on the bulletin board near the courts.

We have several social events scheduled each year for children and adults. Information and sign up sheets will be included in the monthly newsletter and posted by the club office.
