Welcome to the Almaden Swim and Racquet Club

ASRC is Almaden’s premier swim & tennis club featuring 6 lighted tennis courts, swimming, spa and wading pools, men's and women's locker rooms, and courtside and poolside seating and tables.

ASRC offers tennis lessons from top ranked tennis instructors Bill Kress (former Northern Section singles #1), Oren Motevassel (former world ranking #1 over 35 singles and former ATP player), and Kathy Barnes (#1 world ranking over 50 doubles). 

ASRC is also home to ALMA, the #2 ranked year round swim team in Zone 1 South which extends from Salinas/Monterey to just north of San Jose. ALMA recently placed 4th in the Junior Olympics which attracted 80+ of the best teams in California and Nevada. ALMA is coached by former Stanford University standout and Pac-10 champion Andre Salles-Cunha.

ASRC is known for combining high level competition with a family friendly environment focused on bringing families in the Almaden area closer together through swimming, tennis, and social activities. The Club Manager is Dan Chapman.

ASRC is governed by a seven member Board of Directors which is elected every fall by the general membership. The everyday functions of the club are run by a Club Manager, Head Swim Coach, & Tennis Director and their staff.
